ABOUT ME
I originally studied English Literature at university, followed by a career in finance. Whilst on an extended parenting career break I decided to follow a different career path. I retrained as a complementary therapist and as a practitioner to work with people with eating disorders, and then as a counsellor / psychotherapist, a choice largely influenced by my own life experiences and my personal journey through counselling and healing. I work with adult clients experiencing a wide range of issues in my busy private practice in Orpington, Kent.
I have full public liability and indemnity insurance, an up-to-date Enhanced DBS certificate, and I practice under the ethical framework established by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). This means that I am committed to working with you in a safe and professional way that empowers you to identify what choices you have available to you and what resources you already possess.

Due to the complex nature of the issues that clients bring to counselling sessions, I am committed to continually improving my knowledge and skills through further educational training and CPD.
